エヴァンゲリオンと言えば、日本では有名なアニメーションである。先日、その映像制作会社が、有料サブスクリプション型のソウトウエアから、無料オープンソースのblenderに切り替えることを発表した。無料と言っても資金を出して、スポンサーをするようだ。フォートナイトのEpic、フランスのUBIソフトもblenderに動いたし、Google、intel、ubuntuもスポンサーを始めたから、この流れは、加速するかもしれない。
